R.K.Construction has been started as a small Blue metal Transport provider in 1993 at Tindivanam (about 100 km from Chennai and 40 Km from Pondicherry) of Villupuram district in Tamilnadu. Initially it has got small projects/subcontract works like Transport vehicles supply (Trucks), Labour supply, material supply (Blue metal, sand, Bricks,etc).
In mid – 90’s RK has got opportunity to work in Hosur- Bangalore (NH4) highway project as a subcontractor for L&T.
In 1997 RK has got Civil work for Hindustan lever company at Pondicherry.
